Zwykły papier! Niezwykłe hobby! Origami!

Like in the past convention, this year we start with Artist Walk. We plan more distant walk, so we will help with public transport. We meet at the convention venue, Elementary school 29, 12 Dembowskiego street at 17 (5 pm). We will travel with tram 11 or 23 from Korona stop (located east from road junction, Rynek Podgórski side). You may catch us at the tram stop if you are late.

Program of the walk:

  1. MAP (Mathematics, Art, Paper) exhibition at the Jagiellonian University, Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science, 6 Łojasiewicza street. It is cooperation between Institute of Mathematics and Galicia Group of Origami. Members of our group presents their artwork in seven showcases. The exhibition is changed every month. You will see the seventh edition of the exhibition.
    Practical info: We will go by tram 11 or 23 from Korona stop (east from road junction, Rynek Podgórski side). We will buy group ticket. Get out at Norymberska stop.
  2. Origami metal sculpture at Manggha Museum of Japanese Art and Technology, 26 Konopnickiej street.
    Practical info: We will go by tram 18 or 52, or bus 194 from Norymberska stop. We will buy group ticket. Get out at stop Centrum Kongresowe.
  3. Walk along Wisła embankment to see murals at Podgórze district. We will see a mural related to Cyberiad by Stanisław Lem.
    Practical info: about 2km of walk, 30 minutes. We end at crossing of Limanowskiego and Krakusa near Kajzer hotel and restaurant Delecta. School is located about 10 minutes uphill.
